Experience & Activities
I am a trained teacher of the English language and an expert in language education and linguistics. I am an empathic teacher with high expectations from my students. Consequently, my years of immersion in teaching the English Language have taught me patience, trust, passion and resilience—principles I consider germane in bringing out the best in every student, irrespective of their age and background.
I have taught students of various levels and of different ages, and I have not only churned out good results with them, but also bred human beings with a difference. I am perceptive of students’ modes of behaviour, which are determinants of a successful learning experience. I am digitally literate, cooperative and open to learning.
With a formidable academic background, I have an MA (Distinction) and a PhD (Distinction) in English and Communication Art from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Additionally, my BA in English Studies (First Class) was conferred by the University of Ghana, Legon. To complement my academic achievements, I also possess the Nigeria Certificate in Education in English/Igbo (Distinction) from Enugu State College of Education Technical, Enugu State, Nigeria.
